Inchmarlo House, dating back to around 1750, is a listed Georgian mansion which sits on an elevated south facing position with superb views over the River Dee within the 100 acre Inchmarlo Retirement Village Estate.

The House was transformed into a Care Home in 1987 and is regularly rated as one of the best care homes in the UK by the Care Inspectorate. Since 2012, Inchmarlo has continued to receive either “very good” or “excellent” gradings each year from the Care Inspectorate, the regulating body.

The House can accommodate 52 permanent residents and provides respite care for those seeking temporary care, whether recovering from illness or injury or in need of respite. Accommodation is provided in both single and twin bedrooms with en suite facilities. There is also a hairdressing salon, bar, restaurant and lounges, for the use of the House Residents and Home Owners alike.

Inchmarlo House Care Home provides the ideal solution for those who are no longer able to cope with the daily routine of life within their own home.

Regular indoor activities and events are organised for residents, including concerts on the lawn, bus outings, piano recitals and tai chi.

“All the housekeeping personnel at the House are fantastic. The rooms are always sparkling clean, fresh smelling, with laundry and maintenance just first class. That care of the beautiful building is much appreciated, and remarked on, by families and visitors as well as inhabitants. It is a huge house, but the care and attention put into the upkeep is remarkable. Thank you all. Keep up the good work of Inchmarlo. It is a remarkable place.”
