Lifestyle Services
pay-as-you-go
Since 1986, we have built around 200 homes on the estate, which is next to a golf course and across the road from the River Dee. Our homeowners enjoy an active social life within a secure community of like-minded people.
Care Support
right on your doorstep
Inchmarlo House Care Home is at the heart of the village so help and support are right on your doorstep if your needs change. Homeowners receive priority entry to the care home, whether for day care, temporary respite or as long as required.
24-hour Reception
happy to help
At Inchmarlo House, there is always someone to answer your calls – day or night. Our friendly receptionists can help you with everything, from ordering newspapers to arranging your dry-cleaning.
Security Round-the-Clock
in safe hands
Our Security Wardens are on hand 24/7 and can provide emergency property assistance. Some owners choose to wear a pendant or activate the help-call unit, and these are connected to Inchmarlo House and trigger an immediate response, no matter what time of day or night.
Community Liaison
at your service
Our Community Liaison team welcome you to village life, help you settle into your new home and assist with requests. You will also be invited to a homeowners’ lunch to meet our team and your new neighbours.
Special Occasions
celebrate in style
We can help you entertain your family and friends by providing tailor-made catering services for those special occasions. Larger parties can be catered for in one of our private drawing rooms. All tastes and dietary requirements can be provided for and our Head Chef is guaranteed to come up with something extra special for you.
The Bar & Drawing Rooms
fun with friends
Our fully licensed bar is ideal for relaxing with friends. Invite your guests to Friday’s Village Pub night for a lively evening of music, drinking and socialising, or pop in during the day to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon of tea with delicious home bakes.
The Gardens
a breath of fresh air
The gardens are the ideal place to walk your dog, take some exercise or just enjoy nature. You can meander through our various unique gardens or explore the walking trails through the 100-acres of woodland. To the south-east of Westfield is the Duck Pond, which is a popular place for grandchildren to feed the ducks.
Village Minibus
travel in style
Our minibus offers a regular shuttle service within the estate and to Banchory. If you want to explore the countryside further and discover all that Royal Deeside has to offer, the local bus service stops right in front of the main entrance.

“As social and active as you make it with a variety of activities. Community of like-minded people. Easy access to the outside world. It’s the place for us.”
“There are all sorts of social activities organised where people from different parts of the Estate meet together. Coffee mornings take place where neighbours meet and exchange the gossip of the day and every Friday there is a Village Pub where we sit and chat over a glass of wine or beer.”
“We come from all parts of the UK and indeed from further afield. The life experiences are widely different and varied and it is fascinating to make new connections with new friends, connections which would not have been possible without the Inchmarlo community. Thank you, Inchmarlo, for that.”
