Who We Are

Hello. We are the Inchmarlo Homeowners’ Community. We enrich our retirement by living and relaxing on the wonderful Inchmarlo Estate. We refer to ourselves as “homeowners” to distinguish our independent living from the “residents” of Inchmarlo House care home. For those who wish to engage, we are a welcoming, vibrant and supportive community.

All content in the Community section was written by, or provided by, Inchmarlo homeowners. We use this area to give a “homeowners’ view” of the amazing place we call home. Whilst we are supported by the “Big House”, we also take pride in organising our own varied social activities. We hope that the information herein will be of interest and value to both those who already live here and those considering joining our community.

If you are considering buying a property at Inchmarlo, we have one piece of advice. Whilst all physical abilities are welcome, the Inchmarlo community and the magnificent gardens are particularly rewarding for those who are still reasonably active. If Inchmarlo is right for you, please don’t leave it too late!
